MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.—After battling the weather to get on the field, the 23rd-ranked Barry Buccaneers dropped their first game in the Georgia College Round Robin Tournament 2-0 to the host Bobcats at the Peeler Complex on Friday.

The Bobcats (16-5) scored both of their runs in the second inning. Whitney Horton homered to right center to lead off the inning and Danielle Bernstein, who reached on a bunt single and stole second, scored on a passed ball.

Carly Lewis (6-2) tossed her second shutout of the season, holding the Bucs (14-5) to six hits and a walk. Britney Pugh (4-1) suffered her first loss of the season. She worked 4.1 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks.
