WINTER PARK, Fla. – Barry senior Leo Vivas has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week presented by VALIC.

 

Vivas helped the second-ranked Buccaneers to a perfect week with a 9-0 sweep of Nebraska Omaha and a 5-0 sweep of #20 Rollins. The senior teamed with Romain Costamagna to defeat Nebraska Omaha’s Tyler Mercier and Nathan Greteman, 8-5, in No. 2 doubles action. Against the Tars, Vivas took donw Henning Anders, 6-1, 6-1 in singles action after teaming with Costamanga for an 8-3 win over Adrian DeFelice and Cooper Maxwell.
