WINTER PARK, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers put three on the 2014 All-Sunshine State Conference softball team, released by the league office on Tuesday. Outfielders Megan Copeland and Kayla Ogle were named to the first team, while first baseman Julie Brito made the second team.

Ogle led the league in batting and stolen bases, hitting .386 and stealing 45 bases in 51 attempts. She also drew 28 walks, which ranked second in the conference, and posted a .486 on-base percentage.

Copeland, the 2013 SSC Freshman of the Year, did not suffer much of a sophomore slump. She hit .350 and led the team with 39 runs scored. She walked 20 times against just eight strikeouts for a .420 on-base percentage. She stole 14 bases in 16 attempts.

Brito made the second team for the second straight year. She hit .341 and led the Bucs with 32 RBI and 12 extra-base hits, including four homers.
