Samara de Freitas collected 16 kills and hit a blistering .520 clip to lead the Buccaneers to a three-game Sunshine State Conference win over the visiting Florida Tech Panthers. She added four digs and four blocks. 

Juan Weissenberg was one of three senior golfers who carded an even par 142 at the AFLAC/Cougar Invitational last week, tying for 11th place individually and leading the Buccaneers to a second-place finish. Weissenberg shot within one stroke of par both rounds, making him the most consistent golfer in the Bucs' field.
