Alexandria Fernander averaged a double-double (13 pts., 10 rebs.) to help lead the Bucs to a 1-1 conference split this week. Against Florida Tech, she scored a game-high 16 points in the Bucs 52-47 overtime loss against the 13-3 Panthers and recorded 11 rebounds. She finished the week with a 10 point and nine rebound performance in the 56-44 win over Saint Leo with two assists and two steals. She has helped the Bucs to a 5-1 conference record, which ranks third in the league.

Phil Puccia helped lead Barry to a perfect 2-0 record this week against Sunshine State Conference opponents. He led the team averaging 13.5 points per game, which included a season high 19 points against Saint Leo on Saturday. On Wednesday, he contributed eight points, two rebounds and an assist in the Bucs' 71-59 win over the Florida Tech on the road. In the 74-68 win over the Lions, his game-high 19 points was followed with three rebounds and two steals. For the week, he recorded a stellar 43.8 percent (7-of-16) from three point range to help the Bucs improve to 13-3 overall a tie for first place in the SSC with a 5-1 league record.
