Amanda Goelz led the Buccaneers to an SSC series win over Nova Southeastern, batting .500 (5-for-10) with two RBI and three doubles. Hitting a double in each of the three contests, Goelz posted a .800 slugging percentage and a .500 OBP.

Nick Shaw turned in the ultimate leadoff man week, averaging two runs per game. He was on base two of every three trips to the plate, batting .417 with nine walks. He tied a school single game record by drawing four walks against PBA. Then he collected five hits and five walks in three games against #16 Florida Southern as the Bucs took the series in Lakeland for the first time since 2001.
