Lauren Evans averaged 20.5 digs per match as the Buccaneers went 2-2 at the Ramada Downtown Minneapolis/Concordia Volleyball Tournament over the weekend. She recorded two 20-dig matches including a career-high 28 against Northern Michigan in the tournament finale. For the week, she recorded 82 digs (5.47 per game), three service aces and a .953 reception percentage.

Henry Apaloo scored twice, including the game winner in double-overtime, to lead the Bucs to a 2-1 win over Regis to open the season. It was his fourth career multi-goal game and moves in past Brian Lewis (1985-88) and Thomas Schertenlieb (1994-96) into 10th place on the Bucs' all-time goals list.
