Andrew Frezza led the hit parade for the Bucs on opening weekend, batting .643 and leading the team with seven RBI in three games. He also was second on the team with seven runs. He had multi-hit games in all three contests, multi-RBI in two and multi-runs in two. In addition, he walked three times and was hit by a pitch to give him a .722 on-base percentage. His best outing, a four-run, five-RBI performance in the opener led the Bucs to a school record for runs in an opening game (breaking the mark of 17 set in 1987 against Dana). |
