Barry's facilities have hosted numerous NCAA and SSC Championship events. Buccaneer Soccer Field has hosted five NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Final Fours, including 1989 and 1993, when Barry won two of its three national titles, and two NCAA Division II Men’s Final Fours. In 1999 and 2000, Barry University became the first site to host both the men's and women's finals at the same site. The two championships have been held concurrently ever since. Buccaneer Softball Field has hosted the NCAA South Region Tournament four times (1997, 2002, 2003 and 2008). The Health & Sports Center has hosted the NCAA Volleyball National Tournament twice, in 1995 and 2004, with Barry taking the title both years, the last two times a host has claimed the championship. The 2005 SSC Basketball Tournament also called the HSC home, the first time the championship was brought to South Florida.
