Nick Goode was named an assistant rowing coach at Barry University in 2011. As an assistant coach, Goode works mainly with the novices, Varsity 4, and assists in other areas of general training. He is partially responsible for designing the team’s resistance training workouts.
 
Prior to accepting a position at Barry, Goode served as the head coach for Ohio University’s women’s crew program from 2008-10. Goode began rowing as a student at Ohio University in 2005. He was a four-year member of the varsity crew and served as the team’s captain for two seasons. In 2009, Goode was a member of the summer senior racing team at Penn AC Rowing in Philadelphia.
 
Goode is currently training for the elite summer rowing camp in an effort to make a bid for the Senior National team. He is pursuing his master’s degree in exercise science at Barry.
