MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers rebounded with an 11-1 win over the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish on Tuesday night at Buccaneer Field in non-conference baseball action.

The Bucs (18-10), coming off a tough conference weekend at Florida Southern, got back to their winnign ways by scoring in five consecutive innings to build an 11-0 lead. Mike Diaz put the Bucs on the board in the second inning with a two-run double and added an RBI single in the fourth to drive in three runs on the night.

Tyler Kinley (3-1) and a host of relievers made the runs stand up, holding the Sailfish (16-8) to a run on eight hits. Kinley tossed five scoreless innings, scattering four hits and a walk and struck out three. Four relievers closed out the game for the Bucs, throwing an inning apiece.

Alejandro De Moya (2-1) took the loss for the Sailfish. In four innings, he allowed six runs (five earned) on 10 hits. He walked one and struck out one.

In the third inning, Luis Arrizurieta singled with one out as scored on a single by Tyler Kellman.

In the fourth, the Bucs tallied three runs. Mike Slabach walked and stole second. He went to third on an infield single by Tim Blackmon. Diaz followed with an RBI single. Sheehan Planas-Arteaga drove in a run with a double, and Adrian English capped the scoring with another infield single to score Diaz.

The Bucs used their speed to score two more in the fifth. Slabach was hit by reliever Stefano Bucciol to lead off the inning. He promptly swiped second and third and scored on a wild pitch by Bucciol. Diaz walked and stole second. He scored on an error by PBA second baseman Billy Walker.

Finally in the sixth, the Bucs pushed three more runs across. Kellman walked with one out and JC Cardenas followed with a single to right. Slabach doubled into the gap in right-center to score Kellman. Cardenas and Slabach scored ahead of a double by Blackmon.

The Sailfish got their only run in the eighth off Matt Garlock. Sean Viscotti walked with one out. Back-to-back singled by Joel Buchko and Billy Kisner pushed across the run.

English led the Bucs with three hits, while, in addition to Diaz, Planas-Arteaga, Cardenas, Blackmon, and  Kellman all had two hits as the Bucs pounded out 15 safeties. Slabach scored three runs, while Diaz, Cardenas and Kellman had two each. Buchko led the Sailfish, going 3-for-3.
