MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University’s men’s soccer team fell to Young Harris Sunday afternoon in a south region matchup at Buccaneer field, 4-0.

Young Harris (2-0-0) got on the board early with William Schondfeldt’s  first goal of the season just ten minutes into the match.

The Buccaneers (0-2-0) weren’t able to find the equalizer and went into the intermission trailing 1-0.

The second half was controlled by the Mountain Lions, adding three more goals, one of which came way of a penalty kick, to stretch the lead to 4-0.

Barry managed just four shots, two on goal, for the game and struggled to find a constant offensive attack. The match began roughly one hour after the original start time and was called early due to inclement weather in the area.

The Buccaneers will travel up the east coast next weekend in matchups against Georgian Court and Dowling University as they seek their first win of the young season.
