MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers put together their most complete game on Friday to rout the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 4-0 in women’s soccer at Buccaneer Field.

The Bucs (3-0-0) got four goals from four different players to notch their biggest win since a 6-1 win over Eckerd on Oct. 9, 2011.

In the 26th minute, Chelsea Stoeckigt won the ball in the midfield and fed Katrina Molfetta on an overlapping run with yards of space. Molfetta pushed into the offensive third and ripped a low riding shot through the Sailfish defense and past keeper Allison Fox for the first score.

In the 76th minute, the Bucs tallied twice as the Sailfish (1-1-1) started to tire. Molfetta fed a ball up to Lavinia Nkomo who bounced a shot off of Fox and Lauren Manna was there for the rebound. Less than a minute later, the Bucs pushed the ball up out of the back. Kayla Nanoo found Tamara Vuckovich open in the middle and she passed the ball through the defense to Natalie Diaz who quickly shot to the far post for the goal.

Kayla Monge and Sara Karna worked a give-and-go in the 89th minute. Monge found Karna open on the right wing and Karna gave it back for Monge’s shot into the upper corner.

The Bucs dominated in all aspects, holding a 28-7 edge in shots, including 16-3 on goal. Fox made 12 saves for the Sailfish, while Becca Rogers stopped all three shots for the Bucs to record her second shutout.

The Bucs travel to St. Augustine, Fla., to face the Flagler Saints on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 11:00 am.
