KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Barry University men's basketball player Magne Fivelstad was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2013-14 Honors Court.

Fivelstad, who graduated in May with a degree in finance, was named to Barry's Dean's List in the fall and spring. He had a 3.880 grade point average in the spring. Fivelstad was also a College Sports Information Directors of America/Capital One All-District Academic selection.

He averaged 11.9 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting a team-best .579 from the field and .832 from the free throw line. 

In order to qualify for the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior, have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better and have matriculated at least one year at the current institution.
