MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The matchups between the Barry University Buccaneers and their Sunshine State Conference rivals, the Florida Southern College Moccasins, on Saturday, Oct. 25 has been chosen as the Division II Game of the Week and will be broadcast live on the NSCAATV.com showcase. Kickoff for the women’s game is slated for 4:30 pm, with the men’s game to follow approximately 7:00 pm.

Presented by Tourbeau Sports Group, the National Game of the Week highlights select NCAA Division I, II and III games every week during the regular season. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) launched its new online media program, NSCAATV.com, last year.

The matches will be webcast nationally by Tourbeau Sports as part of their NSCAATV.com National Small College Game of the Week package. They can be seen in HD with multiple camera angles commentary live at www.nscaatv.com.

The Buccaneers men’s and women’s teams each won a share of the SSC title last year. The women won the regular season title for the seventh time, extending the mark they hold for the most titles in conference history. The men’s team entered the conference tournament as the fourth seed, but knocked out the top-seeded Saint Leo Lions in the semifinals and bumped off the defending national champs, Lynn, in a penalty kick shootout to claim the tournament title.

This season, the women are again one of the top teams in the conference with a 9-1-1 mark and 5-0-0 in the SSC. The men’s team is still battling for a playoff spot, standing 5-6-1 and 1-4-0 in the conference. The top six teams make the conference tournament and the regular season champs host the conference tournament.
