MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The Buccaneers continued their drive for a second consecutive SSC regular season title Wednesday night as they traveled to take on conference foe Florida Tech.

The game was a back and forth affair although Florida Tech did outshoot the Bucs 17-9 during the game.

Both goalkeepers were called into action again and again, with Barry’s Becca Rodgers making nine saves on the night.

Regulation time ended with the game scoreless and two overtimes of play could not break the deadlock.

The Bucs remain in the hunt for the SSC regular season title and will continue it Saturday as they take on SSC rival Florida Southern at Buccaneer Field, with the game starting at 4:30 p.m.

Also on Saturday, the Bucs will be celebrating Senior Day and congratulating the team’s seniors for all they have done for the program and the university.
