2012 Fall Promotions Schedule

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — The 2012 Barry University fall athletic schedule will feature numerous promotional events designed to engage fans and reward the Buccaneer faithful.

The home schedule kicks off Saturday at 7 p.m. when the Buccaneer men’s soccer team hosts Bentley College. Prior to the match, join the Barry student-athletes for the Buccaneer Tailgate Party featuring FREE food and games. In addition, an Apple iPad will be given away at halftime of the game. Additional promotions will occur throughout the semester. On Monday, Barry Athletics will salute the military as a part of Peace Month. Join us for the women’s soccer match vs. St. Thomas at 7 p.m. All those in attendance will receive a USA flag pin. The fall sports teams will also host rivalry week Sept. 18-25, when the arch-rival Lynn Fighting Knights come to town to play the Buccaneers. On Saturday, Oct. 6, we will recognize the women’s soccer national championship teams from 1989, 1992 and 1993.

The volleyball and men’s & women’s soccer teams will host 24 home events during the semester. Each sport will finish the regular season with their annual Senior Night, recognizing those student-athletes playing their final home game at Barry. The women’s and men’s soccer teams will celebrate Senior Night on Saturday, Oct. 27^, hosting Eckerd College at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively, while volleyball closes out the regular season against Tampa on Nov. 17 at 4 p.m.

Barry University athletic events are FREE for all Barry students, faculty and staff with a valid ID.
