LAKELAND, Fla.--The Buccaneer soccer teams play another +2 match against Sunshine State Conference foe Florida Southern in Lakeland, Fla., on Saturday and you can follow all the action on the Buccaneer Broadcasting Network.
The eighth-ranked women (3-0-1) take on the undefeated Mocs (3-0-1) at 4:30 pm, with the broadcast slated to start at 4:25 pm. Both teams play outstanding defense, allowing just one goal through the first four games. Defending SSC Defensive Player of the Year Becca Rogers leads the Bucs with a 0.24 goals against average and three shutouts.
The Buccaneer men, coming off a thrilling 3-2 overtime win over Florida Tech in the other +2 match, are 3-1-1 on the season. Nico Gercke leads the Bucs with four goals, including two against the Panthers on Wednesday. The Mocs (3-1-0) have been very good defensively, allowing just two goals in four games.
