Women's Soccer Plays Scoreless Draw With Panthers

MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The eighth-ranked Barry Buccaneers battled to a scoreless draw with the Florida Tech Panthers at Buccaneer Field on Wednesday night.

The Bucs (3-0-1) and Panthers (2-2-1) have failed to score in the last three contests between the schools. Since 2012, the teams have combined to score just two goals in five games.

The Bucs dominated play, holding a 34-10 edge in shots, including 14-5 on goal. Barry keeper Becca Rogers had five saves for the Bucs to notch her third shutout in four games. Julia Kantor had 14 saves for the Panthers.

The Bucs travel to Lakeland, Fla., on Saturday, Sept. 20 to take on the Florida Southern Moccasins in a non-conference match.
