- Since 2006 the Bucs have earned 12 athletic All-America awards from the NFCA and Daktronics Inc.
- Since 2006 they have earned 36 NFCA Scholar All-America awards
- Over the last four years, the Bucs have earned 23 All-SSC honors and 21 All-South Region honors
- Gerlyn Elam, the 2002 NFCA National Player of the Year, was selected as the top pitcher on the SSC Silver Anniversary Team
- The Bucs have been to the NCAA Tournament 15 times with 4 trips to the national finals, the latest in 2008
- Recent graduates have gone on to medical school, pharmacy school, open-heart surgery teams, and active military duty in the Middle East
- Head coach Danielle Penner who won back-to-back national titles in 1997 and 1998 was selected to the NCAA National Silver Anniversary Team
