MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University athletics is planning to launch a new website next week. The new website will remain GoBarryBucs.com.
Powered through SIDEARM Sports, GoBarryBucs.com’s new site will feature a cutting edge look with new features, including social media and navigation integration, as well as recruiting and fan enhancements.
“Our athletic website page has been developed and maintained in-house for nearly 20 years,” Sports Information Director Dennis Jezek, Jr. said. “While the look and feel of the website has always been first-rate, the technology, especially on the back end, has advanced tremendously in the last few years. By partnering with SIDEARM, we will be able to take advantage of some of the features that the new technology offers.”
With scrolling stories, photos, videos, social media posts and galleries, #GoBarryBucs fans can gain access to the Buccaneers under one roof through quick-to-access simple clicks. Links to Barry University’s school website and Barry’s School of Human Performance and Leisure Sciences will all be made available on GoBarryBucs.com.
“We worked very hard over the last several years to make sure as much of the athletic program’s history has been archived on the website,” Jezek said. “The new website will give us more options for capturing the history of Buccaneer athletics.
“We hope people will enjoy all the new features and design of the new site, and we think Bucs fans will appreciate the new look.”
