Barry University senior setter Mima Hajdukovic (Belgrade, Serbia) was named the Sunshine State Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.
Hajdukovic had a triple-double with 44 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs in a four-set win over Seton Hill at the Grand Rapids Classic hosted by Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. In four matches at the tournament, she had 144 assists, and attacked at a .415 clip. She had 41 assists in a four-set win over Lake Superior State to open the weekend.
She had seven kills, hit .600, had three block assists and dished out 30 assists in the Buccaneers three-set win over Stonehill to cap a 3-1 weekend in Michigan. She had double-digit digs in two matches.
Hajdukovic is leading the Buccaneers in assists with 277 for an average of 9.55 per set. She is hitting .239.
Barry improved to 5-3 overall in the trip to Michigan, and will host an Alumni Match at 7 p.m. Friday at Health & Sports Center.
