WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team won its fourth straight match, beating host Rollins, 25-21, 25-16, 25-15, Friday to begin the second half of Sunshine State Conference play.

All four of the Buccaneers' wins during the streak have come inside the Alfond Sports Center over the past two weekends. Barry improved to 14-8 overall, 4-5 in the SSC. With a win at Eckerd 4 p.m. Saturday, the Bucs could move into fourth place in the league.

"It was one of our best-executed game plans and matches," Bucs coach Steve Hendricks said.

The Bucs hit a season-best .412 as a team, committing just six attack errors in 97 attempts. Barry also converted 75 percent of its sideout opportunities, controlling the tempo from start to finish, despite 24 ties and six lead changes in the match.

Barry's Ivana Didanovic had 12 kills, three blocks and hit .632 with no attack errors. It was her best attack percentage of the season. She's had seven matches without committing an error, and is hitting .300 on the season.

Kristina Boncheva had 11 kills, and Jayla Trombley and Laine Cielena each had nine. Cielena had three of the Bucs' 10 block assists. Jenny Trinidad had 37 assists in a new role as the primary setter. It was the same transition she made last season as a freshmen.

Trombley is six kills away from 200 on the season -- a feat she's preparing to accomplish for the first time in her collegiate career. Trinidad has had 36 or more assists in all four of the Buccaneers' victories during the current streak.
