MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—A pair of Barry Buccaneers and one signee were tabbed in the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Saturday.

Senior Calvin Rayburn, a 6-5 right-hander pitcher, was selected with the 472 pick (16th round) by the Philadelphia Philles. Rayburn helped lead the Bucs to a 29-19 record this season, going 4-2 from the mound with a 3.78 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 66.2 innings. He compiled a four-year record of 18-6, which ties for the sixth-most wins in program history. He threw six complete games, including a pair of shutouts.

Junior outfielder Sheehan Planas-Arteaga went 711 (24th round) to the Seattle Mariners. The left-handed hitter led the Bucs with a .388 average, 17 doubles and six homers. He was second on the team with 43 runs and third with 35 RBI. He led the Sunshine State Conference with a .507 on-base percentage. One of the best hitters in school history, he ranks third in career on-base percentage (.484), fifth in batting average (.367) and sixth in walks (104) in just three years.

Signee Zach Albin from Connecticut-Avery Point was taken 601 (20th round) by the Baltimore Orioles. Albin helped the Huskies go 28-6 this season with a 4-1 record and 3.30 ERA. He struck out 61 in 62.2 innings.

Rayburn and Planas-Arteaga are the 14th and 15th players taken out of Barry since 2006 when head coach Marc Pavao took over the program.
