Barry Men's Soccer open home schedule against Johnson & Wales

MIAMI SHORES, Fla -- Wednesday night, September 10th at 7:00 pm, Barry Men's Soccer opens its 2014 home slate against the Johnson & Wales Wildcats.

After starting the season with a road trip that included a 3-1 victory over North Georgia, Coach Steve McCrath's men aim to begin their season at home with a tone setting win and make Buccaneer Field a place opponents will worry about going to.

Their first test at home is local opponent Johnson & Wales. Barry has dominated the series against the Wildcats winning all three games by a combined score of 15-0.

The Bucs looks to continue that scoring trend with the help of early season standout, senior midfielder Connor Randel. Randel had two goals, included the game winner and an assist in the win over North Georgia.

Wednesday night will be a homecoming of sorts for Johnson and Wales coach Phil Zayas. Zayas played for Barry in 2001. This will be the first time a former player of McCrath's will be on the opposing bench against the Bucs.
