WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--Barry Men’s Soccer had been looking to get back into a winning form after dropping its last two games and did so Tuesday night as they defeated Palm Beach Atlantic 1-0.

Although being outshot 18-12 and giving up more than twice as many corner kicks as they had themselves (13-5); the Buccaneers managed to pull a win out tonight off a Patrick Drmola goal in the 70th minute.

The scoring sequence began when midfielder Ruaridh Kay got the ball clear in the midfield near the bottom of the center circle and fed a pass about 30 yards through the PBA defense to fellow midfielder Maurice Padula on the left who two-touched it to the forward Drmola near the penalty spot. Drmola spun out and buried it into the far post.

Goalkeeper Jimmy McGregor had six saves as he kept his first ever clean sheet for Barry as well as earning the Bucs their first clean sheet of the season.

The Bucs now look to continue their winning form as they travel to take on SSC opponent Saint Leo on October 18 at 7:00 pm.
