MEMPHIS, Tenn.—Lavinia Nkomo led three Buccaneers on the Daktronics All-South Region Women’s Soccer team, earning first-team honors in the midfield.

Nkomo was second on the team with eight goals and 22 points and tied for first with six assists. She scored six game-winners on her eight goals, including five on six goals in Sunshine State Conference play.

It was the first All-Region selection for the sophomore from Southampton, England.

Keeper Becca Rogers and defender Ashley Harlan both made the second team. Rogers, the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Year, led the league in save percentage and was second in goals against average, saves and shutouts.

Harlan also added to her awards this year after earning first-team All-SSC and SSC All-Tournament Team honors. She was the starting left-back for team that was first in the league in fewest goals allowed and goals against average.
