MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University men’s tennis team will host one of two NCAA Division II South Regionals Monday and Tuesday at Buccaneer Tennis Center.

The Buccaneers open the four-team regional at 10 a.m. Monday against Stillman (27-4) in the first semifinal. Barry is the No. 2 seed, while the Tigers drew the No. 7 seed. Lynn (15-6) meets Rollins (12-10) at 1 p.m. in the other semifinal. Lynn is the No. 3 seed, and the Tars earned the No. 6 seed. The two semifinal winners will meet in the finals 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The regional champion will advance to the NCAA Championships May 14-17 at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla., to be hosted by the Sunshine State Conference.

This marks the second year in a row the Buccaneers will host a regional to open the NCAA Tournament. Barry is making its 20th overall and consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Barry is coming off its third straight Sunshine State Conference Tournament championship. Earlier this season, the Buccaneers claimed the first SSC regular season title.
