Volleyball in Preseason Mode on Road

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team kicked off the second day of preseason training with a two-a-day session at St. Thomas University Tuesday, and will hit the road to Boca Raton Wednesday.

The Buccaneers, who open the season Sept. 5, against Barton at Palm Beach Atlantic's Hyatt Place Classic at 12:45 p.m. in West Palm Beach, spent the first two days of camp at neighboring St. Thomas's Fernandez Center. Wednesday, they're bound for Boca Raton's Tribe Training Facility.

Later in the week, the Buccaneers will be back in Miami Shores before finishing up with its 10th two-a-day session at Barry's Health & Sports Center Friday afternoon.

This marks the first week of preseason coverage for the Buccaneers three fall sports. With five newcomers on this year's team who already had a headstart on team bonding before preseason began, the Bucs are in full swing on the court.

Below is a sampling of what a few of the Bucs had to say about 2014's beginnings.
