Barry University men's golf coach Jimmy Stobs has been chosen by Golfweek to serve on a panel at the Golf Coaches Association of America convention in Las Vegas next month.

Stobs, who has steered the Buccaneers to three NCAA Division II National Championships in his 13 years at the Miami Shores, Fla., institution, will be joined by Kent State Director of Golf Herb Page, Alabama coach Jay Seawell and Texas coach John Fields at Planet Hollywood Dec. 8-10.

The panel, which will be moderated by Golfweek college editor Lance Ringler, will discuss strategies in how the top coaches in the country run their programs to achieve success.

Page, who, like Stobs, landed up-and-coming Canadian budding professionals to elevate their programs and coaching pedigrees, expressed his admiration to be joined by the Bucs coach to talk golf and field questions from other coaching colleagues.

"I am extremely honored to be selected as a panelist for the Golfweek Coaches Forum with Jay Seawell, John Fields and Jimmy Stobs," the Golden Flashes coach said.

BarryU, which is coming off back-to-back national titles and is ranked No. 3 in Division II, will begin the spring season Feb. 9-10 at the Matlock Collegiate Classic in Lakeland, Fla.
