Denise Brolly enters her third season with the Buccaneer coaching staff after a stellar collegiate career.
Hailing from Coatbridge, Scotland, Brolly spent her freshman year at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., in 2002 before transferring to Florida Atlantic University for the 2003-04 season. Brolly played three seasons at Florida Atlantic.
Currently, Brolly is FAU’s all-time points leader and second all-time leader in career game winning goals. In addition to holding the record for most consecutive matches with a goal (six), she also ranks fifth in the school’s history for career shots, second in assists, and third in goals. Brolly graduated with a degree in marketing and advertising with a minor in real estate.
Brolly played in the women’s professional league with the Orlando Krush and Cocoa Expos during 2006-2007. She has also played for her native country Scotland at the U-16 and senior levels while earning her first Senior Cap against Wales at the age of 15. She is currently a member of the Scottish National Team and also coaches at the Boca United Football Club.
