MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's golf team is ranked No. 2 in the Golf World/Nike Coaches Poll.
The Buccaneers sit behind Nova Southeastern in the NCAA Division II poll. South Carolina-Aiken is third, North Alabama fourth and Abilene Christian fifth. Barry received one first place vote.
Five Sunshine State Conference teams are ranked in the top 13. Barry and Nova both compete in the SSC.
The Buccaneers had a first place finish and two runner-ups in the fall season. Barry will open the spring season Feb. 10 at the Matlock Intercollegiate in Lakeland, Fla.
