Barry Rowing Ranked No. 1 in CRCA/US Rowing Poll

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's rowing team is ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division II's Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/US Rowing Coaches poll released this week.

The Buccaneers received three first-place votes. Nova Southeastern is second with one first-place vote. Defending champ Humboldt State is third, and Western Washington is fourth. UC-San Diego is fifth.

Barry, which collected two wins last weekend, will row in a pair of duals against No. 6 Central Oklahoma and Jacksonville Saturday at Canal 54 in Fellsmere, Fla.

The Buccaneers will host the Barry-Nova duals at 7:45 a.m. March 30 at Shane Rowing Center in Miami Beach.
