Barry's Alexis Yohe was selected Sunshine State Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week presented by VALIC.

Barry senior Yohe notched a pair of complete-game shutouts against No. 7 Rollins. Working 14.0 innings, she allowed five hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts. In a 4-0 win in game two of the SSC series, she scattered four hits with one walk and struck out six. In a 1-0 victory in the finale, she permitted only one hit with two walks and fanned four. She retired 14 of the final 15 batters in the game. The Bucs’ victories marked the first time an opponent had shut out the Tars in consecutive games since Apr. 23, 2008.
