Women's Golf No. 7 in Final Poll
Daniela Murray and the No. 7 Buccaneers will compete for a national title May 15-18 in Daytona Beach.

NEW YORK -- Barry University women's golf team is ranked No. 7 in the final Golf World/Women's Golf Coaches Association Poll.

Nova Southeastern was a unanimous No. 1 choice, receiving 15 first-place votes and 375 points. St. Edward's is No. 2 with 331 points and Lynn third with 324 points.

The Buccaneers received 271 points.

Barry is one of five Sunshine State Conference schools in the top 7, and one of seven in the top 25. Rollins is fourth with 310 points, and Florida Southern fifth with 306. Tarleton State is sixth with 282 points.

The Bucs will compete in the NCAA Championships for the second straight year after qualifying with a third-place finish at the South/Southeast Regional Tuesday. The national championships will be held May 15-18 at LPGA Legends Course in Daytona Beach, Fla.
