Women's Golf Tournament Washed Out Monday
The U.S. Women's Invitational's opening two rounds was washed out due to heavy rain Monday. The tournament is reduced to 18 holes, beginning Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Rain wiped out the opening two rounds of the United States Women's Invitational Monday at Pine Island Golf Country Club.

Barry University's women's golf team will play one round in the final regular season tournament of the season. The 10-team, six-individual tournament has been reduced to 18 holes, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on the par-72, 6,094-yard course.

Last year, the Bucs finished third in the tournament.

The No. 2-ranked Buccaneers will compete in the Sunshine State Conference Championships next Monday and Tuesday at Lake Jovita Golf Club in Dade City, Fla.
