2007 Women's Soccer

Chris Rich
Chris Rich
Keeper Coach

Chris Rich joins the coaching staff working with both the men’s and women’s keepers after a stellar four-year career between the pipes for the Buccaneers.

As a freshman out of Valrico, Fla., Rich started in only three of the last four games for the Bucs. By his sophomore year, he had played and started 14 games in goal. In 2005, Rich took his game to the next level with a career-best 10-3-1 record with 46 saves and a 1.01 goals against average, including four shutouts. In his final season for Barry, Rich started all but two games, earned a career-high 58 saves with nine wins and a 1.65 goals against average. He closed out his career with a 28-16-2 record and totalled eight shut outs.

Rich served as the President of Barry’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for two years and graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management.

He is currently a graduate assistant in the office of student activities and pursuing a master’s degree in sport management.
