MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University will hold a celebration ceremony Monday at 11 a.m. in the Health & Sports Center Landon atrium to honor the 2013 NCAA Champion Buccaneer men’s tennis team.
The Bucs went 29-0, capturing the program’s second national title and the school’s 10th overall. No. 1 Barry defeated No. 2 Armstrong Atlantic, 5-4, in dramatic fashion Saturday at Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz., to don the champions crown.
The Buccaneers went unbeaten for the first time in the school's entire athletic history.
