MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Playing without second-leading scorer Colette Eule, the Barry Buccaneers (11-8, 4-6 SSC) fell 75-66 in overtime to the previously winless Florida Southern Moccasins in the Health & Sport Center on Wednesday night.

Christen Strawbridge, who came off the bench with a career-high 32 points for Florida Southern (6-14, 1-9 SSC), tied the game at 59-59 with 0:09 seconds left in regulation and the Bucs failed to get off a shot at the buzzer.

In the overtime, the Mocs built a 66-61 lead on a pair of free throws by Ali Sanders with 2:09 remaining. Ines Kerin rallied the Bucs back to tie 66-66 with a three-pointer and another jumper with 0:49 to play, but Strawbridge sealed the deal on the next possession. She hit a runner in the lane and was fouled. Though she missed the free throw, she got her own rebound and scored again to give FSC a four-point lead. The Mocs hit five of six from the line to make the final margin.

Mariah Harris and Sanders each backed Strawbridge with 10 points. Tyler Hardy led Barry with 17 points. Kerin chipped in 16, Kaylia Richardson had 15 and Lynae Richardson added 10.

The Bucs travel to St. Leo, Fla., to face the Lions on Saturday.
