MELBOURNE, Fla. – Shanice Robe of Barry University earned Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 6. She is the first Buccaneer to win the award this season.

Robe, a junior forward, was key in two Barry conference victories this week. In a 2-0 defeat of No. 7 Rollins, Robe took the ball the length of the field and beat the goalkeeper for the first goal of the game. Against Lynn, Robe scored once and assisted on two goals. She ended the week with six points. The Buccaneers are now 5-1-1 on the year, 2-0 in SSC play. They have won 14 consecutive conference matches.

The Bucs have two more big conference matches this week, visiting Nova Southeastern on Wednesday, Oct. 8 and at home versus #12 Tampa on Saturday, Oct. 11.
