Home Delivery

In April, the Barry University chapter of Habitat for Humanity sponsored a national photo exhibit which portrayed the devastation caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. Barry was chosen as the only site in the state to host this exhibit.

The traveling exhibit was titled “Operation Home Delivery: Habitat for Humanity Responds to the Gulf Coast Hurricanes,” and featured photos taken by Habitat for Humanity staff photographers just days after each hurricane struck the Gulf Coast. The photos chronicled the initial destruction as well as subsequent rebuilding efforts.
