Stobs Named Coach of the Year
BU’s Jimmy Stobs was named the Division II Eaton Golf Pride National Coach of the Year following the Division II national championships.
Stobs led Barry to the Division II title with a one-stroke victory over the field at the The Meadows in Allendale, Michigan. While the Division II title was the Bucs’ first win of the season, Stobs led Barry to five runner-up finishes and three additional top-four showings. The Bucs were a mainstay in the top five of the Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches Poll. |
