Doggy-Duo

The team created Doggy-Duo, a retractable dog leash with a pivoting spinner at the end of it allowing for two dogs to be comfortably walked at once. They were chosen as one of six finalists out of more than 70 entries.

Doggy-Duo earned the award after receiving 1,442 out of 4,438 votes via an online voting contest on The Miami Herald’s Web site. Lisiewski developed the idea as a project for his undergraduate Entrepreneurship class. As part of the project, students were asked to create a unique product and develop a business plan to introduce it to the market. Lisiewski then teamed up with Musibay, Willis and Rodriguez to develop a business and marketing plan for Doggy-Duo.
