Rescue 9-1-1

Offered through Barry’s School of Adult and Continuing Education (ACE), the program gives students the opportunity to earn a certificate as an emergency medical technician (EMT). Under the authorization of the Florida Department of Health’s Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Barry is certified as an initial training center for EMT’s.

The students who became the first to graduate from Barry’s EMT program are: Hamid Ajirnia, Tomas Arias, Trudy Beerom, Jesse Cortes, Claude Crevecoeur, Luis DeRosa, Glenn Hubert, Stevenson Lauture, Eduardo Salinas, Kevin Thompson, Jessica Velez and Ronald Voltarie.
