Dynamic Duo

Barry University’s Fine Arts Department presented the musical revue “Grand Night for Singing,” featuring hits from the legendary songwriting duo of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The pair is famous for creating a string of immensely popular Broadway musicals in the 1940s and 1950s. The revue featured students and faculty members performing solos and choral numbers. The October production included sentimental favorites such as “We Kiss in a Shadow” from the “King and I,” “How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria” from “The Sound of Music,” and more than 40 other songs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein songbook.
