Welcome Aboard

A real estate and development executive, Salvaneschi served as president of Blockbuster, Inc., from 1988-91, where he engineered the development of the company from 20 to 1,800 stores, including expansion into Canada and Europe. From 1983-87, he was senior vice president of Kentucky Fried Chicken, and from 1964-83 he served as vice president of development for McDonald’s.

His community work involves organizations such as the National Association of Real Estate Executives, the Diocese of Miami’s Tribunal, the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, First American Railways, Inc., and The Broward County Film Society, Inc. Salvaneschi has also authored three books: “Location, Location, Location,” “Renaissance,” and “Liberal Arts Essentials for Tomorrow’s Leaders.”

This is Salvaneschi’s second stint as a member of Barry University’s Board of Trustees.
