Alumni Association Takes the Show on the Road to Washington, D.C., and Naples

More than 20 alumni recently gathered in Washington, D.C., and Naples, Florida, as part of the Alumni Association’s efforts to create additional alumni chapters. Barry President Sister Linda Bevilacqua, OP, PhD, attended the D.C. event, meeting one-on-one with these alumni and updating them on the university’s progress. The events were held February 3 and 12 respectively at the Equinox Restaurant in Washington, D.C., and the Inn on Fifth in Naples.

“The alumni were thrilled to hear of the great path the university is on and were very happy to be a part of our efforts,” said Paulina Munoz, director of alumni programs.

With the assistance and enthusiasm of these alumni, the Alumni Association is working to create active Washington, D.C., and West Coast alumni chapters. These chapters are only two of the many in development. In the next several months, Sister Linda and the Alumni Association plan to travel to various cities around the country - including their next stop, Atlanta - to connect with alumni and establish additional chapters.
