Archipelago
The Barry University Repertory Dance Ensemble presented its spring dance concert, “Archipelago,” March 20-21. The concert was a tribute to the Caribbean influence in music and dance, especially as it relates to the African Diaspora. The performances also featured special guest appearances by the Jamaican Folk Review. The spring dance concert was directed and choreographed by Professor Yvonne Jones Houston with additional choreography by Erin St. John and William Crowley and special lighting design by Sly Goodridge, former crew member of the Miami Vice television series. |
