ALUMNI CONNECTION

The Next Chapter

Barry President Sister Linda Bevilacqua, OP, PhD, Ernest Cajunte ’04, Regine Chevalier ’04 and Brian Mullen ’03 chat at an alumni reception in Washington, D.C., April 5.

Your Barry University Alumni Association has been hard at work establishing new alumni chapters across the country. Interest groups have sprung up in New York, Washington, D.C., California, Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. These chapters host interesting and informative University-related events, recruit students to our campus, and raise funds for local chapter scholarships.

Chapter activities range from business networking to attending cultural events or dinner receptions for Barry officials. To recruit students to the University, chapters may host programs to recognize outstanding academic achievement, communicate with potential students and scholarship recipients, and attend local college nights as University representatives. We encourage interested graduates to reach out to existing alumni chapters and to establish their own in areas where one doesn’t already exist.
