BASIC Q & A's
How many credits must I have to be a transfer applicant?
Applicants may after the approval of the Dean and Program Director transfer a maximum of 6 semester hours of graduate courses with a minimum grade "B". Only course work taken in the past 5 years at regionally accredited universities or medical colleges listed with the World Health Organization will be considered for transfer. Students must take all required courses for the degree at Barry University.
What are the admission requirements?
Generally speaking, you must present a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 in all transferable college credits, and be in good standing at the last institution you attended. Certain programs require a higher GPA and may have specific prerequisites. Our admission counselors can explain the requirements more fully or you can reference your program page for more information.
